Application Support Associate
About the role
The Application Support Associate at Zeeks Lab will provide first-line support for application-related issues, including reviewing, prioritizing, and responding to support emails. The role involves identifying and escalating bugs, communicating with clients to resolve issues, providing feedback to development teams, and collaborating with onshore teams for continuous improvement. The position is on-site in Colombo 04, with working hours aligned to UK business hours (2PM to 11PM Sri Lankan time), Monday to Friday. Candidates should have strong English communication skills, hands-on experience in application support or IT operations, and familiarity with information security best practices. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Zeeks Lab is a dynamic, emerging company supporting a UK-based cloud application developer.
Must have
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, primarily native English speakers.
- Hands-on experience in application support, IT operations, or a similar technical role.
- Familiarity with information security best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively and independently to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
Highlights
This is an on-site role in Colombo 04 with working hours from 2PM to 11PM Sri Lankan time, Monday to Friday, following the UK calendar. Remote work is not available.
