Senior Salesforce Developer
About the role
The Senior Salesforce Developer role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and implementing Salesforce solutions based on business and technical requirements. The position involves collaborating with clients, stakeholders, architects, and project teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions, as well as developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and related technologies. The developer will also configure Salesforce platforms, design integrations with third-party applications, participate in end-to-end implementation projects, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to other team members. The role is based in Colombo, within the Information Technology & Consulting industry, and follows a hybrid work arrangement. Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Salesforce development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development, customization, configuration, and implementation.
- Minimum 3 Salesforce Certifications.
- Strong technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce integrations.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, capabilities, limitations, security, and development best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications, enterprise systems, APIs, and external platforms.
- Strong experience in debugging, testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and technical problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Strong client-facing and consulting experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed, cross-functional, and international teams.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with Salesforce platform developments and emerging technologies.
