About the role
The IT Assistant at Sethma Hospitals (Pvt) Ltd. is responsible for providing computer and hardware support, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and barcode printers. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, coordinating hardware repairs and warranty claims, supporting network and internet connectivity, assisting with network cabling and configuration, and supporting hospital management systems, CCTV, and telephone systems. Candidates with relevant IT qualifications and practical knowledge are encouraged to apply. The position offers an attractive remuneration package and opportunities for career advancement.
Must have
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) and Advanced Level (A/L) qualifications are preferred.
- A certificate or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field is an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant practical IT knowledge and technical skills may also be considered.
- Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with relevant IT qualifications and practical knowledge may apply.
- Experience in a hospital or other 24-hour service environment is an advantage.
