About the role
Sporting Star, a leading gaming and entertainment business in Sri Lanka, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their Sports Publications team. The role involves designing and producing daily sports papers, formatting sports information for publication, preparing print-ready artwork, editing images and advertisements, and coordinating with editorial and printing teams to ensure timely publication. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Graphic Design or a related field, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, strong English skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must have
- Ability and willingness to work a rotational shift schedule of two weeks of day shifts (08.30 am - 05.00 pm) and two weeks of night shifts (05.00 pm – 01.30 am) each month.
- Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Passion for local and international sporting events.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good command of written and reading English.
- Strong knowledge of typography, page layout, colour management, and print production.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet daily publication deadlines.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in sports data or sports publications will be an added advantage.
