Business Analyst
About the role
Growth Prof is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Colombo, focusing on aligning business objectives with technical solutions in the Australian Tax Industry. The role involves assisting with requirements gathering, creating user stories, supporting Agile practices, developing wireframes, participating in user acceptance testing, and preparing documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of business analysis experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, with experience in Agile environments.
- Basic understanding of requirement gathering, user stories, wireframing, and documentation.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from experienced professionals.
- Familiarity with basic business analysis tools and methods.
- Eager to develop stakeholder management skills and build professional relationships.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in software development teams.
