About the role
The Senior Software Engineer (.NET) role is a 6-month contract position with a leading IT company, focused on designing and developing scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. The successful candidate will lead technical design decisions, optimize application and database performance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is also a key aspect of the role. Applicants should have significant hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, cloud services, and AI-assisted development tools.
Must have
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Razor Pages.
- Expertise in MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, RESTful APIs, and database optimization.
- Experience with microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with React, Docker, Kubernetes, or message brokers is an added advantage.
