Business Analyst
About the role
The Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and improving business processes by gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role ensures IT and digital solutions align with business needs, eliminate manual processes, reduce delays, and support seamless execution of process improvement projects. The position is with Sunshine Holdings PLC, a diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, and offers the opportunity to work on digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT/IS, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or digital transformation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
- Process improvement expertise (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and digital tool proficiency
- Stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Nice to have
- Exposure to system implementations (ERP/digital initiatives) is an advantage
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) is a plus
