DevOps Engineer
About the role
The DevOps Engineer will support and adapt to the organization's DevOps culture and best practices, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and integration activities. The role involves contributing to various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, monitoring system performance, supporting technical incident management, troubleshooting, and ensuring SLA compliance. The engineer will collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams, maintain technical documentation, and follow DevSecOps practices for secure deployments. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in DevOps, Networking, IT, or Telecommunications, with familiarity in CI/CD tools, UNIX/Linux, scripting, and cloud platforms.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, Systems/Networking, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Networking, IT, or Telecommunications
- Good understanding of systems, networking, software fundamentals, and DevOps concepts
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, and SCM tools
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Basic understanding of DevSecOps, system security, and database management
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
Nice to have
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage
