About the role
Verdentra is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Playwright. The role involves working closely with developers, architects, and product teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, tackling complex testing challenges, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of hands-on experience with QE automation tools. The company specializes in Cloud, Data, AI, and emerging technologies, and offers opportunities to work with leading ISVs in the US.
Must have
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of solid hands-on experience in QE automation tools such as Playwright
- Proven ability to build and maintain automated testing frameworks and contribute to end-to-end QE strategies.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes quickly and effectively.
- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence through expertise.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and AI-based automation frameworks will be an added advantage.
