About the role
Sage Systems (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee – Quality Assurance (QA) to join their software development team. This role is ideal for undergraduates or recent graduates interested in software quality and testing, offering hands-on experience with real-world software projects. The trainee will assist in manual testing of web-based applications, document and report bugs, prepare and execute test cases, and collaborate with developers to ensure software quality. The position provides mentorship, exposure to enterprise applications, and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment.
Must have
- Undergraduate or graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in software testing is not required.
