Manager - IT Infrastructure
About the role
The Manager - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap for the modernization and evolution of the data center IT infrastructure. This includes incorporating emerging technologies such as cloud integration, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), containerized server environments, and software-defined networking. The role oversees the 24/7/365 operation of all data center facilities, ensures compliance with internal and external regulations, and manages governance frameworks for change, configuration, and access control. The manager will also design and maintain high availability architecture and lead disaster recovery drills to ensure business resilience. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in IT infrastructure management, particularly in mission-critical data centers, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science which recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a large, mission-critical data center, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills capable of driving change and leading technical teams including Excellent Project Management Skills, Strong Problem-Solving Skills and timely result orientation.
Nice to have
- Certification in VMware or Nutanix is advantageous.
- Certification of CKA/REDHAT Open shift is advantageous.
- Certification in MSSE or RHCE is advantageous.
