IT Executive
About the role
The IT Executive role at Suwanda (a joint venture with Cycle Pure Incense and Eswaran Tea) is an opportunity for motivated individuals to start and grow their career in Business Applications. The position involves providing end-to-end support for SFA systems, training sales users, installing and maintaining IT equipment, responding to technical inquiries, maintaining IT documentation, coordinating with vendors, and supporting IT projects and process improvements. Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma, 1-2 years of experience in IT operations, proficiency in MS Windows and Office 365, and strong communication skills in English and Sinhala. The role is based in Katunayake and requires adaptability and enthusiasm for new technologies.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in SFA, SAP ERP, end-user support, IT operations, Windows technologies, and network infrastructure.
- Proficient in MS Windows 10/11 operating systems, MS Office 365, printer management, and computer device maintenance.
- The ideal candidate should be result-driven, adaptable, flexible, resourceful, and have a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills in both English and Sinhala are required to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Potential candidates should be enthusiastic about adapting to new technologies (with a willingness to be based in Katunayake).
Nice to have
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment will be a definite advantage.
