About the role
Vital One (Pvt) Ltd is hiring for two positions: Software Engineer and Assistant Manager - Software Operations. The Software Engineer role involves PHP Laravel development, working with databases, frontend technologies, REST APIs, and both Windows and Linux environments. The Assistant Manager - Software Operations is responsible for coordinating communication between clients and software teams, managing project milestones, and handling project documentation and client feedback. Both roles require relevant experience and strong communication and organizational skills. Must have
- Minimum 3+ years of Software development experience working with PHP Laravel Framework.
- Knowledge of 00A & OOD concepts.
- Good understanding of version controlling in GIT, SVN best practices.
- Experience in databases such as MySQL/ MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Mongo.
- Experience in Frontend Technologies such as React Js, VueJs and jQuery, SASS, CSS3, HTML/HTML5.
- Experience in developing and implementing REST APIs
- Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience in working with Dockerized Environment will be an advantage.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to grasp new technologies, concepts quickly and willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of database design and system architecture.
- Can Do attitude will be an added advantage.
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, Computer Science, Business Management.
- Project Management, or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in software/project coordination, operations, client management, or a similar position.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Excellent English and Sinhala communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of software development processes will be an advantage.
- Experience with project management tools will be an added advantage.
