Junior DevOps Engineer
About the role
Aahaas, a travel platform, is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their onsite engineering team. The role involves supporting cloud infrastructure, application deployments, and automation processes to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient development and production environments. Key responsibilities include assisting with application and cloud resource deployment, supporting CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, maintaining Linux servers and Docker containers, automating tasks with scripts, and documenting processes. Candidates should have basic knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean), familiarity with Linux, Git, networking, CI/CD, Docker, and basic scripting skills. The company encourages applications from fresh graduates, interns, and those with up to one year of relevant experience.
Must have
- Basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean, with practical exposure to at least one platform.
- Familiarity with Linux commands, Git, networking fundamentals, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and Docker.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- A relevant degree, diploma, ongoing studies, or equivalent practical experience through projects.
