Trainee Business Solutions Analyst (intern)
About the role
Altus Vera is seeking a Trainee Business Solutions Analyst (intern) for a full-time, on-site position in Colombo. The role involves supporting senior analysts and consultants by gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping and analyzing business processes, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting in stakeholder workshops or meetings. The trainee will also help assess current systems, participate in solution design discussions, contribute to testing and validation, conduct basic research, and maintain project documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects and develop skills in business and technology within a collaborative environment.
Must have
- Ability to apply strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Foundational knowledge of business analysis and business requirements gathering to support solution design and documentation.
- Understanding of business process mapping and improvement to help analyze current workflows and propose enhancements.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in technology-enabled business solutions, with a willingness to learn about AI, digital transformation, and consulting practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, and documentation tools).
- Ability to work on-site in Colombo, manage time effectively, and take initiative under guidance from senior team members.
