Business Development / Account Manager
About the role
The Business Development / Account Manager role involves taking a consultative approach to account management, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and identifying new business opportunities within Sri Lanka's telecommunications industry. The position requires developing and executing strategic account management and business development plans, understanding customer businesses and industry ecosystems, and managing the complete sales lifecycle from market-to-lead to deal closure. Candidates must have relevant experience in enterprise ICT, telecommunications, or business development, and possess strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. The role is with Renrui Lanka, a workforce solutions partner recruiting for a prestigious client.
Must have
- Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electronics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise ICT, telecommunications, business development, or strategic account management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise ICT and/or telecommunications solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales opportunities and strategic accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Strategic, self-driven, and proactive, with the ability to develop business opportunities independently and build long-term customer relationships.
Nice to have
- A technical or solution-oriented background combined with commercial experience will be an added advantage.
