QA Intern
About the role
The QA Intern will assist in testing software applications, ERP systems, and web-based solutions. Key responsibilities include executing manual test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, performing various types of testing, and collaborating with developers and QA team members. The role requires candidates to be currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in IT or a related field, with a basic understanding of software development and testing concepts. The position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects and professional environments.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
- Good communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC would be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of web applications and databases (SQL) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools or testing tools will be an added advantage.
