Head of IT - Fiji
About the role
Ray Pharmaceuticals, a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor in Lautoka, Fiji, is seeking a skilled and experienced Head of IT. The role involves overseeing and managing the Group’s IT infrastructure, with a focus on computer hardware, networking, IT equipment, and technical support. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving hardware faults, overseeing installation and upgrades, providing technical support, maintaining IT asset records, ensuring network reliability and security, supporting business software, coordinating with vendors, and leading the IT team.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in an IT management.
- Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware, networking, servers, and troubleshooting.
- Good working knowledge of software applications, operating systems, and IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to provide technical support across multiple branches and business locations.
