Sales and Marketing Intern - Software
About the role
Upview is seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern to support customer acquisition for its products RetailerPOS and LawBook, as well as generate opportunities for its software development and technology services. The intern will gain hands-on experience in market research, lead generation, customer outreach, and marketing, working closely with the team to learn how software solutions are marketed and sold to businesses. Key responsibilities include researching potential customers, supporting outreach activities, maintaining prospect lists, assisting with customer enquiries, and supporting social media and promotional campaigns. The role offers practical exposure to the sales and marketing process within a technology-driven company.
Must have
- An interest in sales, marketing and technology, with a willingness to learn about software products and business solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with new people.
- Basic research skills and the ability to organize information clearly using spreadsheets or similar tools.
- Familiarity with social media, email and presentation tools.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn customer outreach, product demonstrations and CRM tools under guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively and respond positively to feedback.
Nice to have
- Previous involvement in marketing projects, student activities, customer-facing work or internships would be an advantage, but is not essential.
