Director - Cyber Security
About the role
Sysco LABS, the technology arm of Sysco Corporation, is seeking a Director – Cyber Security to join its Sri Lanka leadership team as the Regional Business Information Security Officer (BISO). This role involves leading a team of BISOs, overseeing the implementation of cybersecurity measures across Sysco’s European operations, and ensuring alignment with global policies and standards. The Director will manage security leads, facilitate communication between operations and enterprise security, escalate risks, and participate in incident response and business continuity activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, strong business and technical acumen, and relevant certifications.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields
- 12+ years of experience of Cybersecurity and or information risk management
- A solid grasp of how operational systems and their environments are designed, including familiarity with software/firmware that form parts of the applications/solutions and insights in to their behavior
- An in-depth understanding of cybersecurity solutions and requirements within the food and service industry
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to tailor and engage communication across all levels of the organization
- One or more of the following certifications: Certified Information on Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID)
