Functional Support Specialist - Sri Lanka
About the role
The Functional Support Specialist role involves providing first-line and level 2 support for ITMIS Application deployments, including warranty service, maintenance, and incident evaluation. The position requires monitoring system performance, generating reports, updating documentation, making software change logs, and liaising with stakeholders. Candidates will also provide feedback to internal teams and may develop or modify custom solutions. The role is suited for individuals with a background in finance and experience using IT application systems, particularly in public financial management contexts.
Must have
- A Bachelors degree or above in Accounting/ Business Management/ Finance.
- 3 years experience in finance (budgeting process, accounting, debt and payroll) with utilisation of an IT Application System.
- Must be able to write and speak English and Sinhala/Tamil fluently.
Nice to have
- Qualifications in ICT will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in the public financial management reform program and working with information management systems would be considered an asset.
- Candidates should be fluent in English and Sinhalese (Proficiency in Tamil will be an added advantage).
