About the role
The Analyst, Gaming Analysis is responsible for conducting in-depth statistical analysis to optimize gaming machines and table games, aiming to maximize overall gaming profit while considering customer preferences and behaviors. The role involves performing ad hoc analyses, assisting with data mining and predictive analytics, validating and interpreting KPI data, preparing periodic reports, and maintaining gaming data marts. Candidates should have tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or accounting, and be highly proficient in SAS programming and Microsoft Office tools. Experience in business intelligence and analytics, especially in casino gaming analysis, is preferred.
Must have
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as SAS/SPSS/R.
- Proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science or accounting
- English language skills mandatory Highly proficient in SAS e-Guide, WRS/IDP and SAS programming.
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power Point
- Comprehend data structure of various systems downloads, integrations and processes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work with large and complex data.
Nice to have
- Preferably candidate with 1 to 2 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence and Analytics; candidates with Casino Gaming Analysis experience is given priority.
- Knowledge in Casino Mathematics is an added advantage.
