About the role
The Video & Graphic Editor will join the marketing team at Carnage Merchandise (Pvt) Ltd, based in Colombo 05. The role involves creating impactful graphic designs, video content, and motion graphics to bring the Carnage brand to life, covering campaign creatives, social media content, animations, and final edits. Key responsibilities include designing static and animated graphics, editing video and audio, collaborating with teams, and ensuring deliverables are on-brand and properly formatted. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience and strong skills in relevant design and editing tools.
Must have
- Strong skill set on required tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro
- Graphic design foundations: a sharp eye for color, layout, typography and brand consistency.
- Visual storytelling: you understand timing and pacing and can make complex ideas clear in our creatives and videos.
- Animation principles: you apply easing (slow-in and slow-out) and offset-and-delay so movement feels natural.
- Technical versatility: you manage file encoding, render pipelines and multi-layered compositions, and prepare print and digital files properly.
- Collaboration: you welcome direction and feedback to turn it into better work.
- A portfolio and showreel that show your range across graphic design and video content/animation.
