About the role

This role is for a Senior or Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer, primarily focused on Azure but also involving AWS and GCP. The position involves building and running cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, operating containerized workloads on Kubernetes, and setting up monitoring and alerting systems. The engineer will also lead incident response, integrate DevSecOps practices, and mentor other DevOps engineers. The company is a large technology delivery center in Colombo, backed by an international group, and supports enterprise products and client accounts across several regions.

Must have

6+ years in DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering (5+ for senior IC roles; 7+ for lead/architect)
Strong Terraform (or similar IaC)
Hands-on with Azure (IaaS/PaaS, AKS) and/or AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC)
Docker and Kubernetes in production
CI/CD tooling plus scripting in Bash, PowerShell and/or Python
Linux and Windows server administration and networking basics (DNS, load balancers, VPN, TLS)

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
Ansible, SonarQube, Dynatrace, New Relic, OpenTelemetry
.NET/Node.js pipelines; SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance work
