Senior Manger - IT
About the role
The Senior Manager - IT will lead the Group's IT operations and technology strategy across a diverse, multi-sector business environment. The role involves developing and overseeing IT strategy and digital transformation, managing IT infrastructure, systems, and services, and ensuring cybersecurity and governance. Key responsibilities include leading IT teams, managing IT projects, overseeing IT budgets, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position requires a minimum of 15 years of IT experience, including managerial or leadership roles, and a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field. The company, Ambeon Holdings PLC, is a diversified investment group with interests in technology, financial services, real estate, FMCG, and other sectors.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, including 5–7 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems (ERP), cybersecurity, IT governance and project management.
- Experience in IT strategy development, budgeting, vendor management and technology investment evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery and information security requirements, with exposure to cloud platforms and the adoption of AI and automation in enterprise environments.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, decision-making, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align IT strategy with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Relevant professional certifications (such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL or PMP) or postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience in a diversified group, listed company or regulated environment (such as financial services) will be an added advantage.
