Senior Operations Specialist
About the role
The Senior Operations Specialist will support and improve Driver and Courier Operations by leveraging data analysis and operational insights to drive process improvements. The role involves monitoring performance, analyzing operational data using SQL and Microsoft Excel, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and drivers/couriers to address operational challenges. The position is split evenly between data analysis and business/operations analysis, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business solutions.
Must have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Management, IT, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of finance, customer behavior, purchasing power, and business operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with operational teams and translate data into actionable insights.
- Sinhala required to communicate effectively with drivers.
Nice to have
- English is an advantage.
- Experience in Driver/Courier Operations, Logistics, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage.
