Senior Tech Lead – Microsoft Power Platform
About the role
This role is for a Senior Tech Lead specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, based in Colombo. The position involves hands-on technical leadership, including architecting and leading the delivery of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions, designing secure and scalable data models, integrating with Microsoft 365 and Azure, and defining governance and security standards. The successful candidate will also mentor developers, run code reviews, and work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. The company is an established IT services firm with a large delivery team serving enterprise customers, and the role offers architecture-level ownership and the opportunity to shape governance and a Centre of Excellence.
Must have
- 8+ years in software or solution development, including 5–6+ years hands-on with Power Platform (lead-level roles look for 10+ / 6+)
- Expert in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse
- Custom development in Power Fx plus at least one of JavaScript, C#/.NET or Python
- Solid with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth and Microsoft Graph
- Experience leading or mentoring a technical team
- Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
