Senior Full Stack AI Engineer
About the role
The Senior Full Stack AI Engineer role involves building, scaling, and maintaining critical product features across backend services, frontend applications, AI integrations, and cloud infrastructure. The position requires hands-on engineering, taking ownership of end-to-end product development, integrating Generative AI capabilities, and ensuring reliable CI/CD and cloud deployments. The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software. Key responsibilities include full-stack product engineering, AI and LLM development, quality assurance, cloud infrastructure management, backend and database work, and ensuring security and data management. The technical environment includes Node.js, NestJS/Fastify, TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and various AI/LLM APIs.
Must have
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience working with modern web platforms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong professional experience with Node.js, NestJS/Fastify, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience developing modern frontend applications using React and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM/Generative AI APIs into production applications.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database schema design, migrations, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with AWS and containerized application deployments.
- Experience working with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience developing or maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Playwright E2E testing and modern unit testing frameworks.
- Good understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.
- Experience working in scheduling/booking, POS, payments, or similar transactional domains.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced engineering environment.
