Manager NOC Operations
About the role
The Manager – NOC Operations will lead and manage Network Operations Center functions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment in Sri Lanka. The role is responsible for overseeing 24x7 network operations, ensuring service availability, managing incident response, and leading technical teams. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, monitoring network performance, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise network infrastructure, network monitoring, incident management, and operational leadership, with proven experience managing NOC teams.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in NOC Operations, Network Operations, or Network Infrastructure Management.
- Proven experience leading and managing NOC teams within a 24x7 operational environment.
- Strong expertise in incident management, network monitoring, operational support, and service assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure and operational frameworks.
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco technologies, including routing and switching.
- Sound knowledge of network security technologies, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure operational environments.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent networking certifications will be highly advantageous
