About the role
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, is seeking an Intern - IT. The role involves supporting system onboarding, user readiness assessments, user acceptance testing, and providing first-line application support. The intern will also assist in system awareness sessions, technical issue escalation, and preparation of user guides and reports. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a diploma or degree in IT or a related field, and possess strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills. This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of software applications, databases, or business systems will be an added advantage.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a dynamic project environment.
- Proficiency in all 3 languages (English, Sinhala, and Tamil) will be considered an added advantage.
