Project Manager (Mid-Level / Senior)
About the role
This is a contract-based Project Manager role for experienced professionals in the Banking and Financial Services sector. The position involves leading and delivering strategic technology and business transformation projects, managing the full project lifecycle, and coordinating with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and business users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and experience in banking environments. The role is onsite and requires excellent leadership, communication, and risk management skills. The contract duration is between 1.5 to 2 years.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Proven experience delivering projects within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Experience in Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, Treasury, Compliance, or Banking Transformation projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, system integrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
