Applied AI Engineer - IFS Loops
About the role
As an Applied AI Engineer at IFS Loops, you will be responsible for translating complex business processes into autonomous AI agent logic to enable intelligent automation across enterprise operations. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI agents that interact with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Procurement, and Logistics, optimizing workflows and improving efficiency. You will collaborate with customers, product teams, and AI platform engineers, working on process mapping, agent configuration, and ensuring alignment with business rules and KPIs. The position requires technical development skills, process understanding, and applied AI design experience within a global, diverse, and innovative environment.
Must have
- Software development or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of enterprise application integration and data flow management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical logic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset.
Nice to have
- Exposure to the four domains is preferred: Supply Chain, Asset Management, Procurement and FSM
- Exposure to AI frameworks, APIs, or agent orchestration tools is advantageous.
