About the role
The role is for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with codes, collaborating with other trades, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an electrician, strong knowledge of electrical systems, familiarity with codes and regulations, and a valid electrician's license or certification. Must have
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications in electrical work (e.g., NFPA, NEC) are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
