Senior Full Stack Engineer
About the role
Complete Smiles is seeking two senior full-stack engineers to join their in-house technology team on a short-term contract, with the possibility of ongoing work for strong performers. The role involves working with TypeScript or JavaScript, particularly with React and Next.js, as well as PostgreSQL for schema design and query performance. Responsibilities include integrating with third-party APIs, building reliable background processing systems, and working within a large existing codebase that uses code review, CI, and automated tests. The company values experience in SaaS or CRM products, regulated data environments, and delivering under tight deadlines.
Must have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering, with recent senior-level work
- Strong TypeScript or JavaScript, with production experience in React and Next.js
- Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations and query performance. Supabase experience is a plus.
- Production integrations with third-party APIs and webhooks, such as payment, messaging or communication platforms (for example Meta, Twilio or Stripe)
- Experience building reliable background processing: queues, retries and handling duplicate events
- Comfortable working in a large existing codebase with code review, CI and automated tests
- You can start full-time within days
- Clear written English
- At least 4 hours of overlap with UK working hours

Highlights
