Senior Software Engineer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
About the role
TIQRI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support enterprise ERP solutions. The role involves hands-on engineering across Business Central modules, ERP configuration, integrations, and software development, working closely with technical leads, functional teams, architects, QA, and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing and supporting Business Central solutions, configuring modules, building integrations, supporting multi-company processes, and contributing to solution design and technical reviews. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV, AL/C/AL, .NET/C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, and a solid understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and projects.
Must have
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV.
- Development experience with AL / C/AL, along with .NET/C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, and OData.
- Solid experience across core Business Central modules including Finance/GL, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
- Hands-on experience with Manufacturing, including BOMs, routings, work/machine centers, capacity planning, and MRP.
- Experience with Jobs/Projects, including project costing, budgets, WIP, and resource planning.
- Experience with multi-company / multi-entity configurations and consolidations.
- Good understanding of Power Platform, Azure, and Business Central reporting/integration concepts.
- Experience working with APIs, data flows, master-data processes, and system integrations.
- 4+ years of relevant software engineering / ERP development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV.
- Proven ability to independently develop, customize, and support Business Central solutions.
- Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project-based operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong ownership and accountability for the quality of delivered solutions.
Nice to have
- Microsoft certification related to Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly Business Central Developer or Functional Consultant certifications.
- Experience with businesses operating both standardized-product and project-based models.
- Understanding of Business Central Relationship Management and its use within broader CRM requirements.
- Experience with Power BI dashboards supporting sales, project, production, capacity, or operational reporting.
- Exposure to Azure-based integrations and broader Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
