Associate Software Engineer C++
About the role
The Associate Software Engineer C++ will join the Technology Department to participate in software development, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting enterprise-level applications. The role involves working closely with both local and overseas teams, contributing to software design, coding, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining application logic, providing technical solutions, collaborating with team members, coordinating with customers and technical teams, and ensuring adherence to development standards.
Must have
- Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ and socket programming concepts.
- Experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel overseas based on project requirements.
