Augmented Reality Development Intern
About the role
Creative Cohort, a digital marketing company in Colombo, is seeking an Augmented Reality Development Intern for a full-time, on-site position. The intern will assist in designing and developing AR experiences for digital marketing campaigns, such as interactive ads, product visualizations, and immersive brand content. Responsibilities include prototyping AR features, testing and debugging interactive content, collaborating with designers and marketing specialists, documenting technical processes, and supporting the integration of AR and VR concepts into client projects. The role also involves contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions and staying updated on emerging immersive technologies and tools. Candidates should have the ability to work with AR, familiarity with VR concepts and tools, strong communication and analytical skills, a basic understanding of accounting or business fundamentals, and foundational knowledge of programming or game engines. Interest in digital marketing and current enrollment or recent completion of a relevant degree are also required.
Must have
- Ability to work with Augmented Reality (AR) and familiarity with Virtual Reality (VR) concepts and tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid analytical skills for problem-solving, performance evaluation, and feature optimization.
- Basic understanding of accounting or business fundamentals to support project budgeting and reporting.
- Foundational knowledge of programming or game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Interest in digital marketing and willingness to learn how AR enhances customer engagement.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Interactive Media, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Colombo and manage full-time responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
