About the role
Knoweb (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their startup team in Galle, Sri Lanka. The role involves designing scalable microservices, ensuring clean code architecture, and actively participating in code reviews. Candidates should have at least 2 years of professional software development experience and advanced proficiency in either the TypeScript ecosystem (Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, React-Native) or Java full-stack development (Spring Boot, React.js). Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins (or similar), VS Code, and IntelliJ IDEA is required. Must have
- 2+ years of professional software development experience (probationary review at 3 months).
- Advanced proficiency in the TypeScript ecosystem (Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, React-Native) OR Java full-stack development (Spring Boot, React.js).
- Mandatory experience with version control and automated deployment pipelines.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins (or similar), VS Code, and IntelliJ IDEA.

- Advanced database design (relational or NoSQL).
- Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure.
