Junior IT Executive
About the role
A reputed tea brokering company in Colombo is seeking a Junior IT Executive to join their IT team. The role involves maintaining and supporting Windows-based systems and servers, installing and troubleshooting hardware and software, providing technical support to internal users, assisting in network maintenance and upgrades, and ensuring system security and data backup procedures. Candidates should have a relevant IT degree or diploma, good knowledge of Windows infrastructure, computer hardware, and MS Office, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The company offers a competitive salary package and a friendly working environment.
Must have
- BSc in IT / Computer Science or Higher Diploma / Diploma in IT or related field
- Residents of Colombo area (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of Windows-based infrastructure systems
- Sound knowledge in Computer Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
- Basic knowledge in networking (LAN/WAN) will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
