Senior Android Developer
About the role
ESSHVA is seeking a Senior Android Developer with 4-5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating APIs and third-party libraries, and ensuring app quality and stability. Candidates should have a strong background in Java and/or Kotlin, familiarity with Android SDK and RESTful APIs, and experience with version control systems. Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-5 years of experience as an Android Developer with published apps on the Google Play Store.
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to AI/ML development or integration is an added advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
- Experience with cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native).
