Senior System Engineer
About the role
Cube Networks is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Managed Services Team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role involves managing hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions for large-scale enterprise clients, primarily in Australia. Key responsibilities include managing Windows Server environments, configuring on-premises storage, managing virtualisation platforms, and overseeing Microsoft 365 tenants and security. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity solutions, as well as excellent communication skills for working with international clients.
Must have
- Strong communication skills and experience working with Australian/overseas clients
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and migrating IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong experience with Intune, Autopilot and SCCM
- Strong Server Hardware experience across Dell, HPE or Lenovo
- Deep hands-on expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and server roles
- Hands-on Microsoft 365 deployment and migration experience (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
- Experience with hybrid identity solutions (Entra Cloud Sync / Azure AD Connect)
- Experience with Azure networking, security, and governance (NSG, Azure Firewall, Policy, RBAC)
