Executive – Network & Communication Systems
About the role
The Executive – Network & Communication Systems at Lanka Hospitals is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Communication Department, reporting to the IT Manager and supervising the technical team. Key responsibilities include overseeing the operation and maintenance of IP CCTV, IP Telephone, IP Public Address, and IP MATV systems, supporting network infrastructure, coordinating with vendors, handling departmental administration, maintaining system documentation, preparing reports, ensuring adherence to IT policies, providing on-call support for system failures, and supervising the technical team. The role requires strong technical and organizational skills to support the hospital's transition to IP-based communication platforms.
Must have
- Degree, HND, or NVQ Level 5/6 in IT, Electronics, Telecommunication, or a related field.
- Knowledge of IP CCTV (NVR/VMS), IP-PBX/SIP telephony, and IP-based PA/MATV systems.
- Working knowledge of LAN switching, VLANs, PoE, and firewall basics.
- Good computer literacy (MS Office) and documentation skills.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IP-based communication, security, or network systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in a hospital, hotel, or large facility environment is an added advantage.
