Manager – IT Application SAP
About the role
The Manager – IT Application SAP will be responsible for leading SAP and enterprise application initiatives at a leading manufacturing company in Horana, Sri Lanka. The role involves gathering requirements, conducting business analysis, designing solutions, and ensuring the smooth delivery and support of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing documentation, optimizing business processes, providing end-user training, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in SAP and enterprise applications, including implementations and integrations, and a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Technical Studies, Management, or a related discipline.
- 5–6 years of experience in SAP and Enterprise Application environments.
- Hands-on experience in one or more SAP functional areas (SD, EWM, LE, MM, FICO, PP/QM).
- Experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, and AMS engagements.
- Knowledge of non-SAP applications such as Salesforce and HR systems.
- Experience in SAP and non-SAP system integrations.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
- Willingness to work flexibly across locations if required.
Nice to have
- MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
