Information Security Officer
About the role
The Information Security Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day implementation and operation of information security across the Colombo Fort Group Services (Pvt) Limited. The role involves working closely with the Group IT and respective company IT teams to execute the Group’s cybersecurity roadmap. Key responsibilities include vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident handling, and coordinating security remediation and awareness programs. The position requires a relevant degree and at least three years of experience in information security or a related field.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Operations, Infrastructure or Network Security, or a similar technical security role.
- Practical experience in vulnerability management, endpoint or network security, identity and access management, security monitoring, incident handling or security assessments.
- Good knowledge and practical understanding of ISO 27001 and ISMS implementation and maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate security remediation with IT teams and follow actions through to closure across multiple Group companies.
- Ability to conduct and coordinate cyber security awareness programs, user training and phishing simulation activities.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
Nice to have
- Relevant information or cyber security certifications would be an added advantage.
