Finance Intern - System consultant
About the role
P W Holdings is seeking a System Consultant Intern (Finance) to join their team in a full-time hybrid role based primarily in Colombo. The intern will work closely with the consultancy team to implement, configure, and maintain Zoho Books for financial management, bridging finance processes with modern software solutions. Key responsibilities include setting up accounting workflows, migrating and managing financial data using MS Excel, configuring Zoho Books, troubleshooting system issues, performing data analysis, preparing reports, supporting users, and assisting with system testing and documentation. Must have
- Degree or undergraduate qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field
- Practical knowledge or strong familiarity with Zoho Books and cloud-based accounting systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and basic financial modeling
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to learn software tools quickly
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
