Civil Engineer
About the role
The Civil Engineer role involves performing data quality assurance and validation activities using digital construction platforms, dashboards, and reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of construction-related data. The position requires applying civil engineering knowledge to analyze and interpret site data, review construction progress through various digital sources, and ensure alignment with project specifications and BIM models. Key responsibilities include identifying discrepancies, annotating construction elements, conducting quality control checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical queries. The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree and practical experience in the construction industry, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in digital tools.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of practical experience in the construction industry, preferably with hands-on exposure to construction site operations.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building components, materials, construction sequencing, and different stages of the construction lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, construction plans, and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of construction progress monitoring, project execution, and site activities.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and interpret complex technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work with digital tools, software applications, and complex data management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency when reviewing visual information and construction-related datasets.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and processes in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
