About the role

This part-time or freelance position is for an IT Lecturer or Trainer specializing in Power BI and Data Analytics. The role involves teaching students and interns how Power BI and data analytics are applied in real workplace environments, focusing on practical, hands-on training rather than just theory. The trainer will be responsible for guiding students through practical Power BI projects, including data preparation, modelling, DAX, dashboard development, and data visualization, using real-world datasets. Candidates should have strong practical knowledge of Power BI and experience in creating professional dashboards and reports. Good knowledge of SQL Server and Excel, as well as teaching or corporate training experience, are considered advantages. The company is a software institute established in 1998, focused on industry-oriented IT training.

Must have

Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including: Power BI Desktop, Data preparation and Power Query, Data modelling, DAX, Dashboard and report development, Data visualization, Power BI Service and publishing.
Ability to teach using hands-on exercises and real-world datasets.
Experience creating professional dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Ability to guide students and interns through practical Power BI projects.
Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

Good knowledge of SQL Server and Excel is an advantage.
Teaching or corporate training experience is an advantage.
