Intern - Cyber - Digital Trust & Privacy
About the role
This internship at Deloitte Sri Lanka is for the Cyber – Digital Trust & Privacy practice. The role offers hands-on exposure to privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and digital trust projects, working alongside experienced consultants. Interns will support client engagements, conduct research, contribute to assessments and documentation, and gain practical experience in emerging areas such as AI governance and data governance. The position is ideal for proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of commitment.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Law, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong interest in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, technology risk, or AI governance
- Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate a willingness to learn
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of privacy regulations and data governance concepts will be an advantage
- Relevant coursework, academic projects, or certifications related to privacy, cybersecurity, risk, or compliance will be an advantage
