About the role

The Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality & Productivity (SLAAQP) is seeking an IT & Digital Executive to support the Association’s digital presence, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. The role involves maintaining and improving the SLAAQP website and online platforms, managing cybersecurity, updating social media channels, developing digital solutions, and ensuring the reliability of IT infrastructure and software. The position also requires providing hands-on IT and digital support for events, conferences, and training programs, and working closely with the SLAAQP Council to advance the Association’s digital strategy.

Must have

B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the IT field.
Knowledge and practical experience in: Web development and website administration
Knowledge and practical experience in: Graphic and digital content development
Knowledge and practical experience in: Software and application management
Knowledge and practical experience in: Programming and digital solutions
Knowledge and practical experience in: Social media and digital platform management
Knowledge and practical experience in: IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
Strong problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as closely with the Council and other stakeholders.
Willingness to provide IT support during events and programmes, including outside normal working hours when required.
