Senior Project Manager
About the role
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage end-to-end software development projects, ensuring timely delivery within the agreed scope, budget, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements, developing detailed project plans, applying Agile methodologies, conducting business analysis, identifying project risks, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT project management, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proven experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. The position is full-time and onsite at Treinetic, a company specializing in software development and product engineering.
Must have
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in IT project management, preferably within a software development or product engineering environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in managing multiple software development projects from initiation to successful delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirement gathering, process improvement, and translating business needs into actionable project plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of project risk management, quality assurance, project governance, and performance reporting.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
